Opening doors to recovery

Unity Recovery provides free, nonclinical, peer-based recovery support to individuals and families throughout Parker County.

Although the local center is based in Weatherford, Unity Recovery provides services throughout Parker County, including Springtown.

Ashley Gainey, site director, told the Springtown Epigraph the organization previously operated a recovery center in Springtown for about two years. The house closed after its grant funding ended, but she said it helped establish the organization’s connections to the community.
