Springtown High School’s varsity girls cross-country team turned in a runner-up finish at the Granbury Invitational Friday, Sept. 25, at Granbury Disc Golf Park.
Madelyn Walker led the Lady Porcupines with a second-place individual finish, helping Springtown take second in the varsity girls team standings.
Izzy Parker followed with another top-five performance, finishing fifth. Freshman Peyton McClellan continued a strong start to her high school cross-country career, finishing 16th.
