The Reno City Council adopted a $0.412974 property tax rate and a $3.74 million budget during back-to-back meetings Sept. 28-29. The tax rate increased almost 27% from the city’s $0.325507 for fiscal year 2025-26.

The council tackled a number of additional agenda items both nights.
