The Sound of Springtown marching band hosted the 2026 Marching Showcase Saturday, Oct. 10 at Porcupine Stadium, bringing high school marching bands together for a day of competition.
Saginaw High School took first place, followed by Brewer High School in second and Arlington Heights in third.
The Sound of Springtown did not compete in its own showcase. Instead, band members and boosters helped organize the event, coordinate logistics, assist visiting bands and serve as volunteers.
