The Springtown Porcupines made Godley feel unwelcome at Porcupine Stadium Friday, Oct. 9, defeating the Wildcats 47-29 in their homecoming game.
Springtown bounced back from a road loss the previous week to earn its first district victory of the season.
The packed homecoming crowd watched quarterback Kaine Hill throw five touchdown passes, spreading the wealth among five different receivers.
