Volleyball
The Lady Porcupines defeated Iowa Park in three sets Tuesday, Oct. 20. See story in this edition. On Friday, Oct. 23 the Lady Porcupines knocked off Burkburnett also in three sets to get the Lady Pines closer to the playoffs. See story this edition.
JV1 defeated Iowa Park in straight sets, winning 25-10 and 25-19 at home Tuesday, Oct. 20. The Lady Pines JV1 turned around and beat Burkburnett Friday, Oct. 23, 25-15 and 25-22 to end their season.
JV2 beat Iowa Park 25-15 and 25-10 Tuesday, Oct. 20. JV2 then lost to Burkburnett to finish out its season.
Cross-Country
The Porcupines varsity cross-country teams raced at regionals, where Madelyn Walker and Kaiden Derby advance to state. See story in this addition.
Sound of Springtown
The Sound of Springtown qualified for the UIL State Marching Band Championships. The band will compete at the Alamodome Nov. 5.
