Texas Health Resources and the Azle Area Ministerial Alliance will partner to ensure women in the Azle area have an opportunity to get a screening mammogram.
From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, Texas Health Resources’Wellness for Life — Mobile Health Unit will be at First Baptist Azle, 1017 Boyd Road to provide the screenings.
To be eligible, women must:
• Be 40 years of age or older
• Have no personal history of breast cancer
• Not have breast implants
• Have no known breast lumps or other breast problems
• Not be pregnant of haven’t breastfed in the past six months
• Not have received a mammogram in the past 12 months To make an appointment, call 855-318-7696. Appointments can be made Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please bring your insurance card and driver’s license or state issued ID to your appointment. Fully funded screenings are available to women without insurance who qualify.
