SHS powerlifters lauded by school board
The district board of trustees recognizes the Springtown High School boys powerlifter for all the hard work put into this season. The Springtown ISD board of trustees honored the 20242025 Springtown High School girls and boys powerlifting state qualifiers for their dedication and accomplishments achieved at the state level.

First to be recognized was the boys powerlifting team. Head Coach AJ Gutierrez spoke about three athletes. Gutierrez first highlighted senior Hayden Nichols.

“Nichols has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his training and performance this season through countless hours in the gym,” Gutierrez said.
