Kelley becomes mayor; council members sworn in

On May 13 at a regular Springtown city council meeting, Assistant City Administrator and City Secretary Christina Derr administered the oath of office to the city’s newly elected mayor and city council members. Former Springtown ISD Superintendent Mike Kelley was sworn in as Mayor, Walter Roberson was sworn into council Place 4 and incumbent Michele Chandler Kelley was sworn into council Place 2.
