City hosts shred, clean-up day for citizens

The city of Springtown hosted a city wide cleanup and shred day Saturday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event was at no cost for Springtown citizens who needed items disposed and shredded. City Coordinator Rachele Ortega hosted the event and was outside with volunteers Ruth Quirarte, Cherrish Morris and Corinna Marquez helping citizens who showed up to dispose of unwanted items. The shredding services were available at 200 N. Main Street at the court annex building and junk disposal was at 1361 Walnut Creek.
