The Avenue A construction project, which was due to be completed within 10 weeks, has been delayed because of recent rains.
On May 13, at a regular city council meeting, City Administrator David Miller gave an update about the project.
“We are still laying the sewer pipe, the rain delayed the project,” Miller said. “We are trying to catch up with that.” Miller addressed the complaints being filed with the city and spread on Facebook about mail not being delivered.
