Council bids farewell to Hood

On May 13, during a regular city council meeting, former Springtown Mayor Greg Hood said farewell to the council, city staff and to the citizens of Springtown. Mayor Mike Kelley spoke a few words before Hood made his final exit.

“I’m aware you have served in one capacity or another since 2006,” Kelley said. “The council has prepared a gift.

The city staff and council have given you this gavel with your title Mayor Greg Hood, city of Springtown from 2018 until 2025.”
