Bookworms showed their support for the Springtown Public Library Saturday, May 31 at its annual book sale.
At the Court Annex building on N. Main Street, citizens of all ages came to what was a book lover’s dream to support the library’s children’s programs throughout the summer. The buffet style sale had books lined up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and separated by fiction and nonfiction. Citizens were asked to pay just $5 per bag to fill with however many books satisfied them. The sale also included CDs and DVDs of music and movies for people to enjoy. The sale will benefit all the children’s programs the library hosts this summer like Lego Club, Movies at the Library, tie-dye activities, STEM at the Library and more.
