The Springtown Lady Porcupines softball program hosted its annual summer camp June 2-5, drawing 50 enthusiastic campers ranging from third to ninth grade.
Head coach Carey Robertson led the four-day event, which focused on skill development, teamwork and fostering excitement for the future of Springtown softball. “I believe there’s a lot more energy and excitement about Springtown softball, especially with the success we had this year,” Robertson said, referencing the Lady Porcupines’ impressive playoff run that saw them advance three rounds deep.
Robertson also expressed optimism about the program’s trajectory, noting, “This will mark the third straight year of strong freshman classes, with a really strong eighth grade group coming as well. Lady Pines softball should be very competitive for the next several years.”
