Springtown ISD hosts Camp Invention at SES
Camp Invention makes its way to Springtown Elementary School from June 9-12. The hands-on STEMbased activities camp is designed to engage and educate kids from first grade to sixth grade. On day 1, the classes embarked on an eco-expedition and took a closer look at Antarctica and its inhabitants. The students learned about the ecosystem in Antarctica and how penguins survive. In another classroom, students built morse code dashboards and translated words from them.
