Springtown High School graduation might look a little different next year after this year’s ceremony had to be postponed due to inclement weather.
Principal Andrew Hohman told the Springtown ISD board of trustees June 23 he is looking into other options for graduation next year, saying he and his staff put on a poll on Facebook for the whole community to weigh in on the debate.
“We did have 663 people participate,” Hohman said. “62% said that they would approve moving graduation indoors. Almost 68% said that they would be willing to drive to Fort Worth if that’s where we did it. 52% of people said they’re OK with moving the graduation date a week after school ended if needed.”
