SISD leads the way with cutting-edge security system

Directors of operations and technology talk new Raptor program

School safety is a hot topic that has been debated and analyzed for the last 15-20 years across the nation. With technology developing at an astounding rate, innovative school security systems have been on the rise for districts to equip themselves.

Springtown ISD is investing in new security systems and has already tried a pilot program to test the new technology. Chief Technology Officer Amanda Lanicek and Director of Operations Micheal Chavez have worked closely on this issue and have collaborated intensely to implement new technology to enhance safety and security across all campuses.
