On Thursday July 10, a silver Toyota Yaris iA and a Nissan pickup truck crashed near the Jack in the Box at the intersection of East State Highway 199 and Old Springtown Road at 2:15 p.m. When police arrived, the Toyota was blocking one of the SH 199 westbound lanes and the Nissan was blocking one westbound lane on SH 199. First responders and Springtown police arrived at the accident within minutes and directed traffic while investigating the accident.
A young woman driving the Toyota was not seriously injured but the condition of the pickup driver is not known.
