Superintendent praises district teachers and staff

The Springtown Independent School District board of trustees voted to approve salary raises for teachers and staff. In a special board meeting Tuesday, July 8, the board went into executive session to discuss and take on action on paraprofessional salary scales including instructional assistants, clerical staff, transportation staff, child nutrition staff, maintenance and ground crews. Administrative salary scales for teachers, full-time librarians, counselors and nurses were also discussed. The next day, Springtown ISD issued a statement about the result of the discussions.

“Springtown ISD is excited to announce staff raises for the 2025 to 2026 school year,” the statement says. “The Springtown ISD board of trustees unanimously approved a new compensation plan that includes salary increases for all staff, reinforcing the district’s commitment to recruiting and retaining high-quality educators and team members.”
