Hilltop Drive opens to traffic

After months of construction, residents can travel freely

After a few months of construction, Hilltop Drive is now open. On Tuesday, May 27, construction crews began working to mobilize for the Hilltop phase of the ongoing Avenue A and Hilltop Road project. Residents who lived on Hilltop Drive had to be detoured to other roads and saw some weather delays. The full closure began June 2 and opened back up for travel in the beginning of July.
