Safe Harbor Counseling Center presents benefits to city having garden

Springtown Park may get a new community garden next to the Cartwright Pavilion.

Safe Harber Counseling Center Program Manager Fran Simpson spoke to the city council July 24 of the benefits to the city having a community garden. Safe Harbor recently received a grant through Texas Health which is allowing this opportunity to come to fruition.
