The lights, camera and action are just getting started for Springtown High School senior class president and POJO mascot Joey Rios with his debut short film, “Bodies and Blame.” His first film premiered at Film Alley in Weatherford with many from his hometown coming out to support him.
Rios must have the air of filmmaking about him, since he grew up in Tustin, California in Orange County.
Along with his parents, he moved to Springtown in 2021 and does admit he wasn’t entirely OK moving to Texas.
