‘The best place to live, work and pray’

Springtown community welcomes new teachers

The Springtown Area Chamber of Commerce, Springtown Pastoral Fellowship, Springtown Independent School District and Springtown Education Foundation hosted the annual new teacher luncheon Tuesday, July 29 at Oak Knoll Ranch on Three Skillet Road in Wise County. The luncheon is an opportunity for teachers new to the district to get to know the Springtown community. Springtown ISD Director of Communications and Marketing Kendra Hutchison welcomed the teachers and introduced members of the chamber and the Springtown community.

“We are so happy y’all are here with us,” Hutchison said. “We are incredibly fortunate to have a supportive chamber of commerce. They’re truly the driving force behind this amazing event. From securing this beautiful facility, setting up all the tables, decorating, cleaning up, coordinating with the school district and pastors and gathering all the donations for the goodie bags, it would not have happened without their effort.”
