Springtown volleyball rolls to 10-1 mark, tournament runner-up finish
The Springtown Lady Pines have wasted no time making noise in the 2025 volleyball season, opening the year with a blistering 10-1 record and showcasing the balance and firepower that could carry them deep this fall.
Springtown opened its campaign Aug. 12 with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Peaster, a program known for its scrappy play. Junior outside hitter Libby Tedder led the charge with 14 kills, while sophomore Addy Burtnett followed closely with 12. Later that day, the Lady Pines made quick work of Godley, sweeping the Lady Wildcats 3-0 behind 11 more kills from Tedder and 10 from Burtnett.
