Sound of Springtown wraps camp with annual Band Olympics

Event marks tradition of fun, teamwork and lasting memories

Springtown High School’s Sound of Springtown band capped off its summer camp in festive fashion Monday, Aug. 11 with its annual Band Olympics.

The event, a long-standing tradition, serves as both a celebration and a stress reliever following weeks of intense summer training. Students competed in silly games, took on an obstacle course, and enjoyed pizza and snow cones, all while cheering on their fellow sections in friendly competition.
