Lady Pines celebrate Youth Night, rebound with sweep of Burkburnett

The Lady Porcupines of Springtown Volleyball packed Porcupine Gym last week for a pair of home matches that brought out both community pride and competitive fire.

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, the program hosted its annual Youth Night, inviting kindergarten through sixth grade students to experience varsity volleyball firsthand. Young fans formed a pre-game victory tunnel for the players to run through, setting an electric atmosphere. The Lady Pines fed off the energy early, claiming the opening set 25-22 against Eagle Mountain. But the momentum slipped away as the visitors stormed back to take the next three sets. The 3-1 loss dropped Springtown to 1-2 in district play and 29-8 overall. Eagle Mountain and Decatur remain atop the standings with identical 3-0 records.
