Springtown’s crosscountry program left its mark Friday morning at the Castleberry Invitational held at the Camp Carter YMCA complex, claiming multiple team and individual
honors. Brayden Levario led the way for the Porcupines, capturing first place in the varsity boys 5K race. The boys team rode his performance to a runner-up finish overall. On the girls’ side, senior standout Madelyn Walker placed fourth in the varsity 5K to help pace the Lady Porcupines.
The Springtown varsity girls dominated the twomile division, winning the team crown with a balanced showing. Alyson Barco finished runner-up, followed by Izzy Parker in fourth, Kerrington Edwards in seventh, Claire Cash in eighth, Kai Kellert in ninth and Raylee Holland in tenth.
