It’s baaack. The monthly teen movie afternoon sessions are coming back to the Springtown Public Library this Saturday, Oct. 4 from 2:30 – 4 p.m.

The free event is held the first Saturday of every month and will feature a different PG-13 movie each month, complete with treats. The list of movies will rotate, so call ahead to find out what will be playing each month. Kicking off the Halloween season is “Little Shop of Horrors,” so grab a blanket, find a seat and get ready to be spooked.

Springtown is preparing for its annual National Night OutTuesday, Oct. 7, from 6–8 p.m. at Newby Pavilion. The free, family-friendly event aims to strengthen relationships between residents and first responders in a relaxed setting.
