The Springtown cross-country program turned in another strong performance Thursday at the Decatur Reunion Run, where 16 of the team’s 26 runners set new personal records and eight Porcupines earned medals with top 10 finishes.
Head coach Raul Guerrero praised his teams for their effort, saying, “Great day out in Decatur for some big PRs. We had 16 out of our 26 runners set new personal records.”
In the varsity divisions, junior Madelyn Walker earned a third-place finish for the girls, while Kaiden Derby took third and Brayden Levario placed fifth in the boys race.
