Council approves utility, animal control fee increases

Springtown City Council has unanimously approved a 3% across-the-board increase to utility rates as well as minor adjustments to animal control fees.

UTILITY INCREASE

According to the new fee schedule, residents who use 3,000 gallons of water and sewer a month on average will see an increase of $3.19 a month, while commercial businesses who use 5,000 gallons of water and sewer will see a $4.39 increase per month.
