The Springtown Lady Porcupines made Senior Night one to remember Tuesday, Oct. 7, as they swept district rival Krum in three straight sets. Behind a high-energy home crowd, the Lady Pines continued their strong play, improving their district record and inching closer to another postseason berth.
Junior outside hitter Libby Tedder led the charge once again, hammering down 25 kills to extend her school record. Senior libero Brooklyn Quintanilla was electric on defense, recording 30 digs to keep Krum off balance. Fellow senior Bailey Walker ran the offense smoothly with 30 assists, helping control the tempo from start to finish.
Head coach Abby Zipoy praised her team’s effort and composure.
