Springtown Independent School District recently proved its commitment to fiscal responsibility after receiving a perfect overall score of 100 on the School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas for the 2023-24 fiscal year.
The School FIRST system, overseen by the Texas Education Agency, holds public school districts accountable to strong financial practices through rigorous evaluation of 21 key indicators. These include fund balance, debt management, internal controls and reporting.
SISD Superintendent Shane Strickland said this perfect rating reflects the district’s dedication to transparency, fiscal responsibility and experience in financial management.
