For the third year in a row, Springtown’s Square will be filled with flags, floats and patriotic pride as the city’s Veterans Day Parade returns to honor those who served, recognizing and celebrating the town’s local veterans.

The city of Springtown held its first annual Veterans Day Parade in September 2022, an idea that came from the Planning and Development Department’s goal to bring the community together for meaningful occasions.

Community involvement has played a key role in the parade’s success. Local veterans, along with groups like the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, helped make the event possible. Their participation not only supports the event but also helps younger generations understand the importance of service.
