The Springtown Porcupines dismantled Western Hills 62-0 to improve to 5-0 in district play and tie a school coaching milestone in the process — signaling their readiness for the long-anticipated district showdown with Decatur.
The victory moved head coach Brian Hulett into a tie with Billy Reed for the most wins in program history with 98 career victories. With a win and a district championship this Friday night, Hulett could become Springtown’s all-time winningest coach.
Friday’s contest was never in question. Junior quarterback Kaine Hill turned in a near-perfect performance, completing 15 of 18 passes for 259 yards and six touchdowns.
