The Springtown Porcupine cross-country teams capped a strong season with impressive performances at the Region 1 Cross Country Meet in Lubbock, where junior standout Madelyn Walker punched her ticket to the state meet with a personal best time of 12:08.50 in the two-mile run.
This marks the first time since 2017 that both the boys and girls teams qualified for regionals in the same season, a testament to the growth and commitment of the Porcupine program
Head coach Raul Guerrero praised his athletes for their steady improvement.
