The local Tri County Flag Football League held its first ever Super Bowl Championship over the weekend at Springtown Elementary where a fierce battle ensued as co-ed teams, ages 4 to 17, fought to earn that prestigious “first ever” title.
Despite the slight drizzle of rain Saturday morning, parents, friends and family came out in support of their battle-ready little ones as they prepared to take on their opponents — Cowboys versus Broncos and Bills versus Colts.
The TCFFL is a nonprofit organization created by Brandy and Tim Garvin, Chuck Schmitt and Tyler Brooks, who collaborated to create the league after learning the previous one had been dismantled.
