Your Springtown Lady Porcupines are area champions.
Springtown swept Frenship Memorial Tuesday night in the area round of the 2025 UIL volleyball playoffs, defeating the Panthers 25-15, 25-22, 25-22 at Moody Coliseum in Abilene.
Junior standout Libby Tedder led the way once again, powering the Lady Pines with 16 kills as Springtown controlled momentum from start to finish. Sophomore Olivia Williams delivered a breakout performance with eight kills. Head coach Abby Zipoy named Williams the player of the game.
