SES, Goshen Creek, Reno elementary honor vets

A sea of red, white and blue flooded the stage at Springtown High School as students found their place on the bleachers in preparation for the city-wide Veterans Day program Tuesday, Nov. 11.

This was the first time all fourth grade students from Springtown, Goshen Creek and Reno Elementary schools gathered for a special performance in honor of our nation’s veterans — an alliance Goshen Creek’s music teacher Trisha Weaver said all were excited about.

“We usually hold our own veteran programs, but we thought this would be a wonderful way to do something a little different and bring our schools together for a united celebration.”
