Porcupines blast Lake Worth 55-0 in bi-district opener
Springtown’s Riley Jackson goes up to receive one of two touchdown passes he caught against Lake Worth.

The Springtown Porcupines showed their readiness for the 2025 postseason when they dominated Lake Worth 55-0 in the bi-district round Thursday, Nov. 13, at Godley High School. Ranked seventh in the state, the Porcupines improved to 11-0 and displayed a dominate performance on both sides of the ball.

Springtown’s defense suffocated the Bullfrogs, allowing just 116 total yards — including only 16 rushing yards — in what could only be described as playoff-caliber defense.

Offensively, the Porcupines showed they can run the ball effectively when it matters most. Senior running back Jon Lardizabal led the charge with two touchdowns and 156 rushing yards on just nine carries, earning Offensive Player of the Game honors.
