The Springtown Chamber of Commerce closed out the year with a festive monthly luncheon Thursday, Dec. 4, where attendees were treated to a blanket of yuletide cheer — complete with harmonious tunes and sneak-peak performances delivered by Springtown High School students.
Chamber president Kim Ware began the order of business with new chamber member introductions before thanking this month’s featured business — Ballard Family Dentistry — who sponsored a delicious holiday-themed spread provided by Howell’s Western Café.
While guests enjoyed their meal, Springtown High School choir director Holly Owens led choir members through an array of Christmas classics such as “Silent Night,” “Deck the Halls” and “Angels We Have Heard on High” — setting a cheerful mood. As the choir wrapped up its set, Cinderella and four blind mice danced along to “Impossible” to announce the upcoming production of Rodger & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella: Youth Edition,” set to run Jan. 16-17 at 7 p.m.
