Arlene Davis, 87, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Fort Worth.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m., Friday, June 6 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Springtown Cemetery.
Arlene was born Sept. 6, 1937, in Keshena, Wisconsin to Jacob Joseph Satterlee and Angeline Metoxen. She lived in Wisconsin until the age of 15 and later became a resident of Texas. She married her husband, Wesley Dean Davis, at the age of 18 and now they are together again.
She was hired by General Motors because of her skill and manual dexterity to work on the assembly line. She retired after many years of service.
Arlene was a member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and the First Baptist Church of Springtown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Dean Davis; sons, Rodney Dean Davis and Wesley Dewayne Davis.
Arlene is survived by her sons, Louis Davis and Clendon Davis; her daughter, Tinetta Davis; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Schroeder; and brothers, Melvin Brocker and Carl Brocker.
