Roy D. Triggs Sr. of Springtown, Texas, passed away Aug. 20, 2026. 

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24 at Hilltop Family Church in Springtown. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25 at Hilltop Family Church, followed by a graveside interment in Goshen Cemetery in Springtown.

Born in 1949, he was known for muscle cars, mechanical ingenuity, barbecue and his humor. 

He was preceded in death by parents Emory and Merdell Triggs; brother Emory Lee Triggs; sister Betty Esther Triggs Jones and son Cotton Ray Davis. 

Survivors include children Roy Dell Triggs Jr., Rhonda Triggs, Tami Triggs and Madison Triggs; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
