Assistant Superintendent of Academics Tiffany Cano presented positive results from the 2024-25 Texas Academic Performance Report at the Feb. 23 school board meeting.

Across Texas, the rate of seniors graduating with college, career or military readiness is 81%. According to the report presented to the board, SISD exceeded the state level at a rate of 96.1%.

For career and technical education, SISD has steadily increased CTE programs throughout its middle and high schools. This expansion has provided CTE courses to 36.4% of SISD students, roughly 9 percentage points higher than the state average of 27.7%. Among high school students specifically, SISD reported 86% enrollment in CTE courses compared with the state average of 74%.
