For Chuck Cusimano, who has frequently performed at the Springtown Event Center, the dream of becoming a country western musician began as a child as he heard Biff Colley sing a rendition of Bill Anderson’s song “Still” on a local radio station in his mother’s car.

“… the man on the radio station mentioned ‘That song was written and recorded by Bill Anderson, who has also written a lot of songs that you folks have heard before,’” said Cusimano. In that moment, a young Cusimano had an epiphany.

“I thought I was a weirdo for just doing that, because I was always making up these little rhymes. And then all of a sudden I realized this could be something.”
