Farmers and ranchers in Parker and Wise counties who participate in the patronage program offered by AgTexas Farm Credit Services can expect a reimbursement check in the mail as the agency distributes more than $35 million to its member-owners after another strong fiscal year. Many patrons utilize the program to finance land, operations and other agricultural needs.
Instead of focusing on profits for outside investors, AgTexas provides loans designed for agricultural producers and returns a portion of its yearly earnings to members through patronage, supporting long-term growth and sustainability for farmers and ranchers across its 43-county service area.
“Returning this large share of our profitable operations in 2025 to our members is at the heart of what we do,” CEO Kayla Robinson said in a press release. “When we do well, our member-owners also benefit. That’s the power of patronage.”
