In an effort to promote responsible pet ownership and help reduce the number of unwanted animals in the community, the city of Springtown has introduced the “Fix it for the Future” voucher program. Funded by the city and administered by the Springtown Animal Control Center, the initiative enables Springtown residents to apply for a voucher to spay or neuter their dog or cat, a procedure widely recognized as a key step in controlling pet overpopulation.

Vouchers must be redeemed within 60 days of issuance and can only be used with approved veterinary providers. They are nontransferable and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while program funds remain available.

Residents are limited to one voucher per program year, with a maximum of two vouchers allowed per household annually.
