The Springtown Independent School District recently shared updates about several construction projects funded through the district’s voter-approved 2025 bond program. The projects include a new elementary campus, an expansion at Springtown Middle School and renovations at Springtown Elementary School.
Construction began on Littleton Springs Elementary after the school board approved the first construction package Feb. 23, including early site work and structural preparation. A second construction package for the main school building is scheduled to go before the board April 27.
The new campus will include several flexible learning spaces, including a library, classroom collaboration areas, a multi-purposed cafetorium for both dining and student activities and a gymnasium designed to also serve as a storm shelter.
