SISD has announced open enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will begin April 1 for both new and returning students. The district has also announced that all registrations must be completed through its online Skyward Family Access portal.
New students
To attend an SISD campus, students must reside within district boundaries. Along with other required documents —such as birth certificate, social and immunization records — new students must also provide proof of residency such as a utility bill dated within the past 30 days or a lease agreement.
