The city of Springtown plans to launch a new centralized calendar system on its website this year to improve how residents access information about local events and activities.
“We’re going to replace that Google Calendar with a much more user-friendly version of a community calendar,” said City Administrator David Miller at the Feb. 26 city council meeting.
The current Google Calendar feature has experienced occasional technical issues, including displaying incorrect event information, prompting the decision to transition to a more reliable platform.
