The annual Hop & Shop at the Springtown Square drew residents and families Saturday afternoon, March 28. Chilly weather did not deter attendance for the highly anticipated community event.
“We come to Springtown all the time,” said Natasha Evans, an Azle resident who enjoys the seamless Easter egg hunts the city and volunteers organize. “Them being able to space stuff out is why we always come to Springtown events. Everything here is always really nice because it feels like small town vibes even though it’s a little bigger now.”
Along with hunting for Easter eggs filled with candy and prizes, visitors were able to walk around the square to shop and support local businesses. Another highlight of the event was the raffle visitors were able to participate in. Visitors received cards to take to each participating vendor for a stamp, earning an opportunity to enter a raffle for prizes sponsored by local businesses.
